Field & Garden: Spring
- Plant peas when the soil crumbles in the hand.
- Keep heavy loads off the gravel roads until the postings come down.
- Turn the compost and spread the old.
- Set out tomatoes after the last frost, usually the middle of May.
- Clean and paint the lawn furniture on a dry weekend.
