Minutes — Regular Meeting

Present: Samuel Kirke, Moderator; Ruth Ellery, Township Clerk; Joan Whitcomb, Treasurer; and 27 residents
Also present: Harlan Voss, Township Marshal; Frank Odell, Superintendent, Light & Water; Peter Lindqvist, Fire Chief; Gus Bertrand, Foreman, Roads & Grounds
1. Call to order
The Moderator called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
2. Minutes
The minutes of the previous meeting were read.
Moved, seconded and voted unanimously to approve the minutes as read.
3. Treasurer's report
The Treasurer reported fund balances at the end of the previous month.

4. Light & Water
Superintendent Odell reported that the lawn watering schedule is in effect through August.
5. Marshal
Marshal Voss reported a routine month and had no matters for the Meeting.
6. Fire Department
Chief Lindqvist reported 4 calls in the previous month, all handled without injury. The response log is posted on the Fire Department page.
7. Roads & Grounds
Foreman Bertrand reported that Main Street sidewalk repairs are scheduled for late July.
8. New business
The County Fair committee requested Marshals Service traffic control at the fairgrounds entrance, July 23 to 26.
Moved, seconded and voted unanimously.
9. Public comment
None.
10. Adjournment
The next regular meeting will be Tuesday, August 11, 2026. The meeting adjourned at 7:32 p.m.
